Rocking M Ranch Home Our Ranch Winners Our Herd Sires

                                 Our Ranch

We are located in central Oklahoma where the summers are hot and the winters are normally not too bad.  Our animals seem to do very well in this climate. We have a select group of Boer and Boer cross does with two bucks, which are the cornerstones of our breeding program.   (More information on our bucks is shown on the "Our Bucks" page).

We also produce Texas Longhorn cattle, which we sell to people who want all natural grass fed beef for their freezer, and horses.

This is Mary Anne’s new horse “Dallas”.  Her  APHA registered name is  She’s Cute N Chex.  Sire is Zippo Pine Chex.  Mary Anne is showing her in western pleasure.

This is "Pearl".  She was born on March 25th, 2008.  She is scheduled to be Mary Anne's next champion western pleasure horse....in a couple of years.  Her sire is Zipped Up Sensation and her dam is Peaches, a quarter horse mare we raised.

Here is Pearl at 3 months of age.

This is Mary Anne with Pearl after a show in Stillwater.  Pearl is a yearling in this picture.

"Talkin To The Max" has points in AQHA Novice Amateur in Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, and Western Pleasure.  He was sired by "Sweet Talking Chip" and born in 2000.  SOLD

These goats are feasting on our sudan patch. They tend to stay in that patch all day.....

This is Kelly, our young Great Pyrenees guard dog.

And, yes.....we have chickens which are constantly scratching up the garden, lawn and anything else they want to scratch.....but, fresh eggs are certainly a benefit of living in the country.

This is Patty, our newest acquisition.  We named her Patty because she was born on St. Patrick’s day 2010. She is a yearling in this picture acquired at the 2011 Reichert sale to compete next year in the western pleasure classes at the Reichert Celebration.  We are excited to have her and look forward to competing with her in the future.

Her sire is Zippos Sensation, the leading western pleasure sire in APHA.
