In October 2008 we acquired 2 new bucks for the upcoming breeding season. Both these bucks have excellent genetics.
DOWNEN W4 (Spot)is a buck sired by NAMA Blitz (Ennobled) which is a son of Dr. Pepper, the only 3 time South African National Grand Champion Buck. His dam is also the dam of Downen Design 19 (Ennobled). Our first kid crop is on the ground and looking extremely good with long, muscular bodies!
Painted Moon Smokin Money comes to us from Painted Moon Boers. He is sired by Ash Creek Money Maker who is out of RRD Gunsmoke (Ennobled) and Ash Creek Bright Star (Ennobled). (SOLD)

On August 12, 2006 we acquired "Pass" at the Showstopper Sale. What an incredible animal!! He is sired by RRD S889 "Pow" (Ennobled) and his dam is EGGS Nefertiti (Ennobled). He has 12 Ennoblements on his papers!! He was born February 15, 2005 and has a very impressive show record with 65 ABGA ennoblement points already awarded. See the list of show placings below.

This is "Pass". Look at the massive muscle and bone! Also notice the correctness of his skeletal structure. We are excited to have such an amazing animal as one of our herd sires! Watch for his kids in future shows.
"Pass" has an incredible show record in the ABGA! He has: 12 First Place, 3 Jr. Grand Champion, 2 Jr. Reserve Champion, 1 Overall Grand Chamion, 2 Overall Reserve Grand Chamion placings in 12 shows. Many judges have commented on his abundance of muscle, bone and correct skeletal structure. He is also very clean fronted and passes these traits on to most of his kids.
Here is "Pass" at a show with some of his many ribbons. The lady in red is his original owner, Betty Humphrey of Texas Holdem Boer Goats. The other goat in the picture is his sister, who also has a very impressive show record and 80 ABGA points.
Here is "Pass" in one of his first shows. Notice the top line and bone on this kid! No wonder he placed first in his class at all the shows he attended!
We lost Tex to quick pneumonia on October 9th, 2008.
On September 3, 2005, Rocking M Ranch acquired "Powell-Hollman 8T". He is an own son of the great Bingo "Ennobled" and National Grand Champion multiple times. Click on the link to see his pedigree.

We bought "Tex" to compliment our heard with many of the attributes judges are looking for today in both breeding stock and market goats. As you can see in these photos, Tex is extremely long and correct structurally. His loin and rump area are as long as any fullblood buck we have ever seen. He is 9 months old in these photos. He was born 1/05/05.
In this photo, you can see the muscles in the twist and fore-arm area as well as the width over the loin. We are extremely excited about having Tex as one of our herd sires for the 2005/2006 season!
The bucks listed below are bucks previously utilized by Rocking M Ranch as herd sires. Many of our breeding does are sired by these magnificent bucks with incredible records in the show ring themselves and through their progeny.
Brutus was sired by "Ennobled" Ash Creek 38 Magnum from Blue Ribbon Boers(he was ennobled in 2004). His dam is JMD Blue Ribbon N10, which is one of our best does acquired from our friends at Blue Ribbon Boers. Brutus was born 11/16/02 on Rocking M Ranch. His lineage consists of 6 ennoblements in the past 3 generations. He has numerous awards under his belt and produces long, muscular offspring with quiet temperaments. Poncho was sired by "Ennobled" DKLK JRP Ty from J & P Boer Goats(he was ennobled in 2004). His dam is FSE 0032 with lines back to Mojo Magic. Poncho has 6 Ennobled relatives in his last 3 generations. Poncho was born 03/14/02 at J & P Boer Goats in Duncan, Ok and purchased at the first Buck Futurity in Tulsa, where he placed 7th overall. Poncho has numerous awards already including Grand Champion Junior Buck at the Oklahoma State Fair. He produces very muscular, wide-standing kids. To view his pedigree, click on the link below.
